Search for hunter begins third day

Ponca City Now - December 30, 2015 9:25 am

Search efforts for a missing hunter at Kaw Lake were suspended about 6 p.m. Tuesday because of darkness.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said side scan was used along with the use of Patrol One, a Highway Patrol’s airplane, flying over the search area to scan the shore line with no luck.

Search operations for Craig Strickland have resumed Wednesday morning with the use of side scan and Lt. Roe, along with three troopers.
