Schools offer Spirit Nights again for Students

Ponca City Now - September 20, 2019 10:38 am

The Ponca City Public Schools is once again offering Spirit Nights for all students to give them the experience of attending the wonderful activities available in the district. Spirit Nights were developed to promote school spirit and to provide all students a glimpse of all extra-curricular activities. Something different this year is that the district is splitting the grades at West Middle School and Po-Hi so they will have a 6th grade West Night and a 7th grade West Night. There will be four nights for Po-Hi, one for each grade level. Students will be given tickets to allow them and one adult into the event free.

The district also added some Concert Spirit Nights that will occur in the Winter and Spring Spirit Nights. Even though it cost nothing to attend a concert, students will still receive a free Wildcat Way T-shirt and will have the added bonus of experiencing a concert in the PCPS Concert Hall. The plan is to ensure the scheduling of Spirit Nights offers students at all sites to attend a different event so they may experience many of activities the district has to offer. Coaches/Sponsors and students will be attending morning assemblies to invite students to events. The Fall Season Schedule is listed below. Winter schedules will be announced closer to the season.
