The Ponca City Public Schools Board of Education will hold a special meeting at noon Tuesday to consider and vote on an agreement with SchoolSpring.

SchoolSpring is a national PK-12 specific job site and candidate database. It is designed to provide national exposure for employers, while helping to source active job seekers across the United States. SchoolSpring is free for candidates and provides a reliable tool to search for jobs locally and nationally.

With the shortage of teachers in Oklahoma, many 6A districts have begun using this service with success, according to the agenda item on the agreement. The product is offered by Netchemia, which also provides Talent Ed Recruit and Hire and Personnel Records Management which is current used by the PCPS Human Resources Department. The cost of the agreement is $3,900.00 for a 12-month term beginning June 22, 2015. Shelley Arrott will answer questions.
