School Begins in Ponca City Thursday, August 24

The PCPS 2023-2024 school year begins in Ponca City on Thursday, August 24.

Please be aware of the kids in our community and make sure they stay safe.

Obey the school zone speed limits, watch for crossing guards, never drive while distracted, and look both ways while around schools. Watch out for the kids who don’t always watch out for you.

Leave plenty of space for school buses that are loading and unloading students.

Be sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get kids to school so your not rushing and be prepared for extra traffic.

Parents please discuss road safety with your children and teens who are walking, riding bikes or driving to school.
