Salvation Army to hold two fundraisers in July

Ponca City Now - July 15, 2019 2:12 pm

The Ponca City office of the Salvation Army will have two fundraisers in July.

The first will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at Walmart. A child’s wading pool will be set up with a canister in the center. Donors can toss coins, trying to get them in the canister, for the chance to win a $5 gift card to Valero, said Connie Smith with the Salvation Army. All coins will go to Salvation Army.

The second fundraiser will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Freddie’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. Mention the Salvation Army and Freddie’s will donate 15 percent of your purchase price to the organization.
