Ponca City Now - March 19, 2020 10:20 am

TONKAWA — Northern Oklahoma College’s top priority is the health and well-being of the college community.

NOC administrators are closely monitoring the spread of the coronavirus and following the guidelines of state, national and global health officials.

As an extra precautionary measure, NOC has postponed the Renfro Lectureship Event “An Evening with Jimmy Webb” originally scheduled on April 8, 2020.

NOC officials have been in contact with Webb and are working to reschedule this event. Further announcements regarding the revised date will be made as soon as this information becomes available.

At that time, current ticket holders may keep their tickets and attend the rescheduled event, donate their tickets to the NOC Foundation – Renfro Lectureship Program as a tax deduction, or request a full refund of the ticket purchase for cancellation.

NOC is closed for an extended Spring Break, through March 29 to help slow the spread of COVID-19. NOC will continue to communicate regularly on the evolving widespread disease over the coming weeks.
