RECPLEX HARDWOOD FLOOR MAINTENANCE BEGINS THIS MONTH

Annual hardwood floor maintenance at the RecPlex is scheduled to take place Monday, August 28 thru Monday, September 4. During this time the two main basketball courts, the racquetball courts and Studio A will be closed.

Regularly scheduled classes and activities that are impacted by these closings will result in postponement or relocation to an alternative space in the building. Changes to the class and program schedule will be sent via email and posted to the RecPlex Facebook page. All other areas of the facility will remain open during this time. Although the majority of dust from floor buffing will be captured by machines, some dust may be present in areas near the maintenance being performed. In addition, odor from the fumes of sealers and paints being used may be present in the building, but due to its water base, will be less impactful than other oil-based chemicals.

All spaces are scheduled to reopen Tuesday, September 5 and all classes and programs will return to their normal schedules at that time. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while this important maintenance is being performed.
