PTC Receives Gold Star Award for 21st Year

Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) received the Gold Star School Award from the Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers. This is the 21st Gold Star Award that Pioneer Tech has received from the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education.

Ponca City, OK- Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) received the Gold Star School Award from the Oklahoma Association of Career & Technology Education (OKACTE).  This designation, sponsored by OKACTE, provides recognition to technology center districts with outstanding programs designed to meet a broad spectrum of community needs.

This is the twenty-first year PTC has met and exceeded the rigorous standards required in student retention, placement, quality program instruction, recruitment and guidance, assessment capabilities, and diverse business and industry training programs.

This award echoes the accomplishments of our amazing team and incredible partnerships formed in the work we do! None of us can accomplish great things alone…it takes a focused, collaborative effort from each of us.  As we continuously work to fulfill our mission of ‘enhancing lives and securing futures,’ we are excited that Gold Star achievement is the outcome,” commented Traci Thorpe, PTC Superintendent/CEO.
