State Treasurer’s Office Revives Key Agricultural Support Program

The Office of the Oklahoma State Treasurer is pleased to announce the relaunch of the Agricultural Linked Deposit Program (AGLink), an initiative designed to support Oklahoma’s farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses. The program officially rolled out on November 1 and will provide financial assistance to at-risk farms and alternative agricultural ventures.

Through the Agricultural Linked Deposit Program, eligible agricultural businesses can access lower-interest loans to sustain and expand their operations. This program serves as a resource to Oklahoma’s agricultural community, addressing their need for accessible financing. Reducing financial barriers can help Oklahoma’s agricultural producers thrive and contribute to the state’s economy.

“This program is crucial not only for individual farmers and ranchers but for the entire state’s agricultural infrastructure,” Treasurer Todd Russ emphasized. “Oklahoma’s agricultural sector is not only one of the state’s largest economic drivers but also a deeply rooted part of our identity and way of life. By investing in our agricultural producers, we are strengthening rural economies, safeguarding food supplies, and ensuring Oklahoma remains a leader in agricultural innovation, resilience and national security. The Agricultural Linked Deposit Program is a testament to our commitment to supporting the backbone of our economy and preserving Oklahoma’s agricultural heritage for generations to come.”

Qualified applicants include Oklahoma-based farms and businesses producing, processing, or marketing agricultural products, with specific provisions for at-risk farms and alternative agricultural products. Loans through this program can be used for business operations, refinancing, or expanding production.
