The staff at the Washington Prekindergarten Center work on a “make and take” learning activity during their Professional Development time last week. They made sensory objects for students to feel and define the characteristics of the object and match it to a picture.

They also filled balloons with flour, shampoo, rice, macaroni, gravel, and popcorn. According to principal Barbara Davis, teachers can have fun in PD too!
