The holidays bring friends and family back to town, and the Poncan Theater is taking advantage of the talent coming home.

Ponca City natives who have made a career of entertaining will take the stage tomorrow night.

Larry King, Poncan Theater director said these performers range from former Miss Oklahoma candidates to Broadway actors.

“This is talent thats grown up and learned in Ponca City to be in Show Business, and they have gone on to make a living at it,” King said.

Some of the names in the spotlight are Robin Whitaker, Steve Lewis and Christy Tate.

This is the second year for the Poncan Theater to host 1Nite, which is a benefit for the Poncan.

Adults are $20, students are $10 and kids are $7, however; any donations are accepted.

King said this is a great time to unwind from the holidays.

“If you just want to be entertained," King said. " This is one hectic time of year, I am sitting around going oh man. If you just want to be entertained, relax for a couple of hours. Now we are looking at a couple hours, it could go a little longer than that. Come to the Poncan Theater, and this is also a benefit for the Poncan Theater.”

The show starts at 7 p.m. and is great for the family.

All these artist have received a paycheck from entertaining, and were raised and trained in Ponca City.
