Ponca City VFW Post 1201 Inviting Veterans to Lunch at the Flea Market This Sunday

The VFW Post #1201 Flea Market takes place every Sunday 7am to 1pm, weather permitting, at the VFW at 2821 E Prospect and will run through Nov 19th. You can purchase delicious VFW Biscuits and Gravy and other concessions and find some great bargains at the VFW Flea Market. The VFW Post 1201 members plan, organize and operate this flea market as volunteers so that all money raised goes back into our community. Affordable rental space for vendors. Over 100 spaces available with no limit on the number of spaces a vendor can rent. Space rental fees: First 10′ x 20′ space is $10.  Additional 10′ x 20′ spaces $5 each. This Sunday the VFW Post 1201 will recognize the return of the last U.S. Vietnam prisoners released in March of 1973, the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean Conflict and the 20th anniversary of the War in Iraq.

From noon to 2:00 pm this Sunday, all veterans and their families are invited to enjoy a complimentary BBQ lunch at the VFW sponsored by the VFW Post 1201 and the Post Auxiliary, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Veterans Day Parade Committee. Service officers will be there to assist veterans in need. Please join them in honoring those who served and those who sacrificed their life for our country.
