Ponca City tradition continues

Ponca City Now - December 3, 2013 6:26 am

Ponca City is continuing a tradition this year.

Terri Sherbon, recreation superintendent said the Christmas parade has been happening downtown for quite some time.

“This parade has been going on for several years," Sherbon said. "I would venture to say it’s probably about 20 years old.”

She said the deadline for entries was yesterday and there will be a variety of groups participating.

It’s a great time for friends and family to gather during the holiday season.

The parade will be downtown on Friday and will begin at 6 p.m.
