Ponca City Public Schools announce back-to-school meetings for parents, students

Elementary Schools
All Ponca City Public School elementary schools and Washington Prekindergarten Center are holding their Back-to-School/Meet Your Teacher Night on Aug. 14 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at each site.

West Middle School
West Move-In Night

Aug. 14 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. (This date was changed due to construction)
6th Grade Academy for kids and parents immediately following

West Schedule Pick-Up and Pay Fees

6th Grade Aug. 7 from 3 to 6 p.m.

7th Grade Aug. 8 from 3 to 6 p.m.

East Middle School
East Schedule Pick-Up Aug. 6
8 to 10 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

East Meet the Teacher/Title 1/8th Grade Informational Meeting

Aug. 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

6 to 6:30 p.m. Parent Meeting

6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Meet Teachers

7:30 to 8 p.m. Make-Up Meeting (*For those who didn’t make the first meeting)

*Note: Two parent meeting sessions will be conducted for parents’ convenience. Parents don’t need to attend both.

Ponca City Senior High School
Sr. High Schedule Pick-Up Tuesday, Aug. 7.

7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Juniors and Seniors

1 to 3 p.m. Sophomores

3:30 to 6 p.m. Freshmen

6 p.m. Freshmen Orientation at Howell Auditorium

Sr. High Make-Up day for Schedule Pick-Up is Wednesday, Aug. 8

8 to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m.

*Note: If students will be driving to school, please bring driver’s license, insurance and $20 for parking sticker.

During schedule pickup, students will be able to:

  • Get Photo Id
  • Pick up schedule
  • Meet principal/counselor
  • Pay computer fee of $30
  • Add money to lunch account (optional)
  • Visit the spirit mall/clubs and organizations
