Ponca City Police Department “Beards For Santa” Project Has Begun

Ponca City Now - November 3, 2022 6:22 am

Beards for Santa has started.

If you see a Ponca City Police Officer in uniform, and he has a beard or goatee, know that officer has supported the Shop with a Cop project by paying $100 or getting donations that total at least $100.

The Shop with a Cop program is an annual project.

Uniformed police officers are normally not allowed to have beards but through the Beards for Santa project, officers who choose to participate can grow a beard for a short period of time.

Ponca City Police Department officers will use the money made to take kids shopping for Christmas.

This can only be done through the generosity of corporate partners, and individual donors.
