Ponca City Man Injured in Accident Near Kaw City Saturday

Kaw City-

A Ponca City man was injured while riding his 2000 Yamaha Banshee on an ATV trail just west of Olsen Lane, approximately 3 miles east and one half mile north of Kaw City around 4:15 pm today.

Zachariah Means, age 29 of Ponca City was transported by Air Evac to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in good condition with injuries to his leg.

The accident was investigated by Trooper Adam Beck of the Kay County detachment of Troop K. and assisted by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department, Newkirk Fire Department, Kaw City Fire Department, and Air Evac out of Ponca City.
