Ponca City Now - October 24, 2014 12:29 pm

The Main Street Association is inviting families downtown for a night of Halloween fun next week. Goblins on Grand is for kids between two and 12. Chelsea McConnell, Main Street Association Director said wristbands are $2.

"A lot of people ask, I got a 1 1/2 year old, do I need to buy them a wrist band and just the rule of thumb is if you want them to get the bag to put the candy in he needs the wristband," McConnell said.

There are more than 50 booths this year and they expect about 2,000 kids. There are games, bounce houses, a tractor ride, petting zoo and food vendors.

"Very safe environment, it takes place in front of City Hall from 5 th to 7 th Street and it’s just a Halloween carnival," McConnell said

Goblins on Grand is Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30. Wristbands can be bought at Tyndall Dentistry, First National Bank, Eastman National Bank, the UPS store and Ponca City Chamber of Commerce.
