Ponca City included in Winter Weather Advisory until noon

Ponca City Now - February 12, 2020 9:49 am

Emergency Management Director Paula Cain said Wednesday morning that Ponca city is included in a Winter Weather Advisory until noon for continued rain/snow mix.

“I had slushy snow on my windshield this morning, so it wasn’t too bad,” she said.  What I am worried about is tomorrow morning.  The low tonight is expected to be 17⁰.  With north winds 16-21 mph after midnight, our wind chill will be right around 1⁰.  I can guarantee you that any water on the roads tonight will be ice in the morning.”

She urges everyone to use extreme caution Thursday when you walk, drive, and travel.
