A canned food drive was held before the Thanksgiving holiday for Ponca City High School students.

The second-hour class with the most cans and winner of a donut party was Coach Love’s class with 119 cans.

Second place was Mr. Liles’ class with 99 cans and third place was Mrs. Carter’s class with 58 cans.

The school total was 614 cans/items. Also, a HUGE thank you to Mr. Frazier and his ag classes for bringing a total of 1,700 cans, including a frozen turkey.

Student Council members delivered the 2,314 items to The Mission on Monday morning.
