The Ponca City Board of Education voted 5-0 on a $1 per hour plus one step increase across the board pay raise for all support staff employees on Monday at a special board meeting. In addition, the board also approved a raise for all certified and administrative staff employees in line with the spring legislative session teacher pay raises.

“This unanimous decision from the board is a significant step towards recognizing the dedication and hard work of PCPS support staff,” said Anna Roland, president of the Ponca City Board of Education. “It acknowledges not only their contributions to public education but reflects our commitment as a board to uphold the well-being of every staff member in the district.”

PCPS Superintendent Adam Leaming said, “I am proud to acknowledge the thoughtful decision made by our board of education in providing a $1 raise for all our invaluable support staff. This action not only demonstrates our commitment to recognizing the hard work and dedication of these essential team members but also highlights our collective efforts to foster an environment of appreciation, growth, and collaboration within our educational community.”
