Officers and Extra Eyes Volunteers from the Ponca City Police Department recently worked with other community partners to put on a bike rodeo, and safety event for kids. Pioneer Technology Center hosted the event and Pioneer Tech students volunteered to help. The Friendship Bikes group donated several bike helmets, brought out refurbished bikes for kids to use, helped with minor repairs, and did helmet fitting for the kids. Approximately 18 kids showed up for the event. Wal-Mart supplied 20 bike helmets, and 2 vouchers for new bikes.

Elijah Morgan 1st Grade won a bike.

Graylee Greenwood 1st Grade won a bike.
