Ponca City Police have identified a woman who died in the 800 block of West Emporia on Wednesday.

Bailey Bellamy, 23, was found lifeless at the residence, police reported. She had pre-existing medical conditions.

Investigators served a search warrant on the home and seized multiple contraband items that are tied to the use of illegal drugs. All indications are that the death is related to the victim’s pre-existing medical conditions and no foul play is suspected.

At 2:36 p.m. Wednesday, a frantic 911 caller reported the death. Police and ambulance personnel responded to 808 West Emporia. A Kay County Sheriff’s Office deputy and a representative from the Eighth District Attorney’s Office were also notified.

The body was released to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office for the exact determination of death. The investigation is continuing.
