Po-Hi Symphony Strings Orchestra Earns Three Superior Ratings

The Po-Hi Symphony Strings Orchestra earned three superior ratings at the Oklahoma State Secondary Activities Association (OSSAA) Regional String Orchestra Contest held at Edmond Santa Fe High School on Wednesday, November 15.

The orchestra is under the direction of Paula Cochran with assistant directors Katie Rolf and Cassidy Broome. The Symphony Orchestra would like to thank Dr. Thomas Dickey, Dr. John Clinton, and Mr. Dan Larson for their continued support for the program. They spent time with the orchestra to help them reach their contest goals.

Paula Cochran said, “Thank you to Mrs. Jennifer Dye and Mr. Chad Keilman for traveling to contest  today. And a very special thank you to former maestro Dan Larson for spending the day with us today at contest, we are excited to have Mr. Larson join us for our upcoming Holiday Concert.”

Please join the Po-Hi Orchestra on  Tuesday, December 12 at 7:00 pm for a free Holiday Concert featuring the Symphony Strings, Symphonic Brass, Winds, and Percussion. The concert will also feature the Po-Hi Chorale, under the direction of Chad Keilman.
