Congratulations to the Po-Hi Symphony String Orchestra for earning three superior ratings at the Oklahoma State Secondary Activities Association (OSSAA) Regional String Orchestra Contest held at Edmond Santa Fe High School on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. The orchestra is under the direction of Paula Cochran with assistant directors Katie Hauge and Cassidy Broome.
“The Symphony Orchestra would like to thank Dr. Thomas Dickey, Dr. John Clinton, and Mr. Dan Larson for their continued support for our program. They took time to spend with us to help us reach our contest goals. Thank you to Mr. Chad Keilman for traveling to contest with us today. And a very special thank you to former maestro Dan Larson for spending the day with us today at contest,” said Paula Cochran. “We are excited to have Mr. Larson join us for our upcoming Holiday Concert.”
“It is a privilege to be a part of a program with such special students. They worked so hard to overcome so many obstacles, and I am so proud of them,” said Paula Cochran.
Please join them Tuesday, December 10 at 7:00pm for the Holiday Concert featuring the Symphony Strings, Symphonic Brass, Winds, and Percussion.
This concert also features our PoHi Chorale, under the direction of Chad Keilman.
