Ponca City, OK – Pioneer Technology Center has made plans for Phase II of the COVID-19 Pandemic which will begin Saturday, May 16th. Full-time program students completed their distance learning May 15th.  These Full-time Program completers and continuing students will have access to their final grades by May 18th.

PTC’s reopening mitigation plan can be found at their website and was developed based on CDC suggested guidelines for reopening public places as well as with guidance from the Oklahoma State Department of Career and Technology Education. Throughout Phase II, the PTC facility will remain closed to the public; however, staff will be onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

“I would like to thank our partner communities for their support during this situation. We will continue to remain focused on the health and welfare of our students, employees and stakeholders as we resume programs and services,” said Traci Thorpe, PTC Superintendent.
