Petition seeks to close public alley

The owner of Lot 7, Block 13 of Myatt’s Addition has petitioned to the Ponca City Mayor and Board of Commissioners to hold a public hearing and consider closing a public alley. This alley is in the 200 block of West Cleveland, on the south side.

The petition will come before the Ponca City Planning Commission for initial review and recommendation at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 516 East Grand Avenue.

It will then go to the mayor and city commissioners at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 27 in the Commission Chambers.

Protests against the proposed closing shall be filed at least three days before the date of the hearing. They should be filed at the offices of the Development Services Department in City Hall, 516 East Grand Ave.
