Pet of the Week

Casino’s name is very fitting. This goofy guy was rescued off the side of the Highway right next to … you guessed it, the casino!

We don’t know if he was abandoned or if he just wandered too far from home and could not get back. After weeks of trying to get him without luck, it was the kindness of a hitchhiker who walked all the way from the casino to a local vet, with Casino trialing behind him to get him to safety.

Once inside the building, Casino showed how goofy his personality is. He is a love bug who loves everyone! He is working on being on a leash and loading up in a car. We believe he may not have much experience with riding, but once loaded he settles down.

Casino is looking for a loving and understand home that will allow him some adjustment time. He does well with other dogs, so he would like a friend in his new home. We feel that Casino is at least partly housebroken since he has not had any accidents in his dog run.

Casino is 3 years old and we believe he is an Akita/Shepherd Mix. If you are looking for a loyal and active dog, Casino is what you are looking for. Adoption fee is $25.
