The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a personal injury collision occurred about 10:5 a.m. Sunday on County Road 5455, also know as Boston Pool Road, about 6 miles south of Hominy, OK in Osage County.

The patrol said the accident involved a 2012 Ford F150 driven by Hope Matin Waller (SIC), 29, of Hominy, OK. Waller was transported by Mercy Regional from Cleveland Hospital to St. Francis in Tulsa, where she was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal and head injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle, Sean David Quimby, 27, also of Hominy, OK was not injured.

The Highway Patrol’s report stated that the vehicle was travelling northbound on Boston Pool road. The vehicle was travelling too fast for roadway conditions and began to fishtail. The vehicle departed the roadway right and impacted a mail box. The vehicle continued off the roadway into a ditch and struck a tree. Airbags were equipped, but did not deploy. Seatbelts were equipped, but only in use by the driver. The report notes that the roadway was a two-lane, undivided gravel road. The report indicates that the driver was driving under the influence and lists this as the cause of the collision.
