The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a personal injury collision occurred at about 11:35 p.m. Friday on CR 1575, about 0.6 miles south of CR 1200, which is about 1 mile west of the Prue city limits in Osage County, OK.

The patrol said the accident involved a 2003 Chevrolet pickup driven by Samuel Keith Bradley (SIC), 26, of Prue, OK. Bradley was transported by ambulance to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa in stable condition with a head injury.

A passenger in Bradley’s vehicle, Kimball Donovan Leonard (SIC), 21, of Prue, OK was transported by ambulance to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, where he was treated and released.

The Highway Patrol’s report stated that Bradley’s vehicle was southbound on CR 1575 at a high rate of speed, failed to negotiate a curve, went into a broad slide, departed the roadway left, spun around, and impacted a tree. Bradley and Leonard were both ejected approximately 10 feet from the vehicle’s point of rest. Seatbelts were equipped in the vehicle, but they were not in use. The report indicates for Bradley’s condition that he was drinking and his ability was impaired. The cause of the collision is attributed to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Investigated by Trooper Romulus Gregory #430 of the Pawnee/Osage County detachment. Assisted by Osage County Sheriff’s Office, Hominy EMS, Hominy Police Department, Prue Fire Department, and Osage Nation Police Department.

This report is based upon the trooper’s investigation of this collision. It may contain the opinion of the trooper.
