The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a personal injury collision occurred about 5:20 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 35 northbound at mile marker 234, about 12 miles north of Blackwell, OK in Kay County.
The patrol said the accident involved a 2016 Freightliner Semi-Truck driven by Rodney MacLin (SIC), 25, of Millington, TN. The vehicle then entered back into the roadway, with the trailer going into a broad slide, and rolled over one quarter of a time, coming to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle and blocking both lanes of northbound I35. Seatbelts were equipped and in use. The report notes rainy conditions and a wet roadway. The cause of the collision is attributed to inattentive driving.
