The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a personal injury collision occurred at about 12:23 a.m. Sunday in the area of Riverview Road and N3305 Road, which is about 3 miles south and 1 mile west of Ponca City, OK in Kay County.

The patrol said the accident involved a 2008 Nissan Altima driven by Haleluyah Fish [sic], 23, of Moodys, OK. Fish was transported by Air Evac to St. Anthonys Hospital in Oklahoma City, where she was admitted in fair condition with leg injuries.

The Highway Patrol’s report stated that Fish’s vehicle was traveling east bound on Riverview Road, departed the roadway to the right, and struck a tree. The driver was pinned for approximately one hour before the Ponca City Fire Department and Kay County Sheriff Deputies were able to free her using the Hurst tool. The report indicates that seatbelts were equipped and in use; airbags were equipped and deployed. The condition of the drive was reported as apparently normal. The report attributes the cause of the collision to inattentive driving.

Investigated by Trooper Beck #700 of the Kay/Noble County Detachment of Troop K. Assisted by Kay County Sheriffs Office, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Ponca City Fire Department, and Air Evac.

This report is based upon the trooper’s investigation of this collision. It may contain the opinion of the trooper.
