Perry woman injured in accident near Kaw City

KAW  CITY — A personal injury collision occurred about 3:27 p.m. Thursday  on State Highway 11, at Acker Hill Road, about a mile west of  Kaw City  in Kay County.

Meaghan Nicole Culver, 21, of Perry was transported by Air Evac to OU Medical Center where she was admitted in stable condition with an arm injury.

Culver was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe and was alone in the car, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The vehicle was westbound on SH 11 and the Patrol reported Culver was driving at an unsafe speed for the curve and departed the roadway to the right. The vehicle rolled ¼ time, coming to rest on the driver side.
