Pedestrian struck, killed while crossing Interstate 35

A pedestrian was killed while crossing Interstate 35 about 5 p.m. Wednesday, six miles south of Perry in Noble County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Gary Hylton, 80, of Prairie Village, Kansas, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by Candace Box, 70, of Perry while he was crossing the interstate.
