PCPS, PTC, Tonkawa Schools announce Distance Learning for Wednesday

Mike Seals - February 16, 2021 10:48 pm

FROM THE PONCA CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM:

Ponca City Public School students will participate in Distance Learning again on Wednesday, February 17, due to continued extreme temperatures, hazardous side road conditions, and additional snowfall forecasted for tonight into tomorrow. Teachers will communicate with students through Google Classroom or site Facebook pages.

When any additional snowfall ends on Wednesday, we will begin clearing parking lots. We are monitoring weather conditions closely and are continuously being advised by the National Weather Service. Please stay tuned to PCPS press releases and app pushes as decisions are made for Thursday. We will give patrons as much advanced notice as possible for any scenario.

Activities are cancelled for Wednesday, February 17, and employees who report to work on inclement weather days need to monitor “All Employee” emails for further guidance.

Thank you for your continued patience. Please reach out to teachers, principals, or district administrators through PCPS email if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing our Wildcats when it is safe for them to return to school.
