The Ponca City Public School District would like to announce information regarding course selection for 9th grade students. Incoming 9th grade students will begin the process of selecting courses for the 2021-2022 school year beginning March 8, 2021.

East Middle School Students
During the week of March 8th, incoming freshmen from East Middle School will be meeting with the Ponca City High School counselors during their social studies class at East. Prior to meeting with the high school counselors, students will watch a short video and will be given a course selection form to review with parents. Parents please review the course catalog with your students, and assist them in completing the form. Students will need to bring their course selection form on the day they meet with the counselors. St. Mary’s and First Lutheran Students
St. Mary’s and First Lutheran students will complete their course selections during the week of March 22nd. Students will bring home a course selection form to complete with their families. Forms need to be returned to St. Mary’s or First Lutheran’s office by Friday, March 26th. If you would like to meet via phone or Zoom with a high school counselor, please complete this form and a counselor will contact you. A high school counselor will make arrangements with you to assist in course selections. Enrollment for Ponca City Public Schools will be in July. Completing the course selection form does not replace enrollment. All students new to Ponca City Public Schools will still need to be enrolled in July.
