PCPD News Release on Arrests

On September 8th, 2020 the Ponca City Police Department began an investigation into allegations against a coach and two former coaches from the Ponca City Senior High School Wrestling program. Information was gathered and submitted to the Kay County District Attorney. After reviewing the information submitted, the Kay County District Attorney’s office filed the following charges.

 

Justice C. Circle was charged with the following two crimes: LEWD OR INDECENT ACTS TO CHILD UNDER 16 (a FELONY), and SOLICITING SEXUAL CONDUCT OR COMMUNICATION WITH MINOR BY USE OF TECHNOLOGY (a FELONY)

 

Dylan W. Schickram was charged with the following two crimes: RAPE – 1ST OR 2ND DEGREE (a FELONY) and SOLICITING SEXUAL CONDUCT OR COMMUNICATION WITH MINOR BY USE OF TECHNOLOGY (a FELONY)

 

Jared D. Wynn was charged with the following two crimes: HARASSMENT BY USE OF AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE (a MISDEMEANOR), and PERMITTING INVITEES UNDER 21 TO POSSESS OR CONSUME ALCOHOL OR CDS (a MISDEMEANOR)

 

Warrants were issued for those charges on September 29th, 2020. At this time, Wynn has turned himself in, was booked in, and bonded out. Schickram and Circle are set to appear in court tomorrow.
