Payless ShoeSource closing Ponca City store

Payless ShoeSource is closing 400 stores nationwide, including several stores in Oklahoma after filing for bankruptcy on Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of Missouri.

Oklahoma stores closing include the Ponca City store at 2720 North 14th Street. Customers are being referred to the online store at www.payless.com.

Other Oklahoma stores that are closing include:

  • 2500 NW 23 Street, Oklahoma City
  • 2175 South Sheridan, Tulsa
  • Spring Village in Sand Springs
  • Bunker Hill Shopping Center in Altus
  • 321 South Main Street in Sapulpa
  • 1720E South Broadway in Edmond
  • 2901 NW 63 in Oklahoma City
  • Damann Plaza in Norman.
