OSU signee Evans a finalist for U19 USA Basketball team

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) – Oklahoma State signee Jawun Evans has been named a finalist for the U19 USA Basketball team that will play for the FIBA World Championship.

Evans is one of 16 finalists announced Monday who will compete for 12 spots on the U.S. team.

The FIB World Championships are scheduled for later this month in Greece with the U.S. team scheduled to open play against Iran on June 27.
