OSBI Investigating embezzlement allegations against Softball Treasurer

SOFTBALL TREASURER KASEY COX UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR EMBEZZLEMENT ALLEGATIONS

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) was requested by the Kay County Sheriff’s Office to investigate allegations of embezzlement by the Treasurer of the Blackwell Softball Association, confirmed by OSBI to be Kasey Cox, wife of Glenn Cox who resigned as Blackwell Mayor on October 8th.

The OSBI was requested on October 5, 2020. Agents are conducting interviews and gathering evidence.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made
