OSBI assists with suspicious death in Carnegie

The Carnegie Police Department requested OSBI investigative assistance with a suspicious death.

At about 4 p.m. Sunday, Carnegie police responded to a check the welfare call at 13 East First Street, Apartment T3. Inside, they found Carla Renee Turney, 55, dead.

The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine her cause and manner of death.

OSBI special agents conducted interviews, gathered possible evidence, and documented the scene. The Carnegie Police Department, the Caddo County Sheriff’s Office, and the District 6 Drug Task Force are helping with the investigation.
