Osage County Deputy David Shawn Lynd Arrested

Pawhuska, OK – May 23, 2024 – The Osage County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) reports the arrest of Deputy David Shawn Lynd for introducing contraband into the Osage County Jail, located at 900 St. Paul, Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
Deputy Lynd has been immediately suspended from employment at the Sheriff’s Office in response to the allegations and is currently in custody at the Osage County Detention Center as OCSO investigators continue to thoroughly investigate this case. The listed charges against Deputy Lynd will be forwarded to the Osage County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.

The arrest of Deputy Lynd is the result of an incident that occurred on May 21 and May 22, 2024, within the premises of the Osage County Jail, as documented by OCSO Investigators.
