One woman dies during a five car pile up

One woman died during a five car pile up on the Cimarron Turnpike around 8 last night. David Glen Willier, 46 of Newton, Kans. hit Dale Hughes, 44 of Checotah and became disabled in the roadway. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Doris Williams, 81 of Stillwater then rear ended Willier and died at the scene. Williams’ vehicle also became disabled in the roadway and was hit by Jesse Ferrell, 18 of Comanche and passenger Kyanne Seibold, 18 of Sterling. The report said Ferrell departed the road to the left and struck the cable barriers. Williams also departed the road, but to the right and hit a vehicle that was legally parked on the shoulder with three subjects in it whose names are withheld due to age.

Hughes, driver of the first car involved was struck with flying debris from the third car hitting, but refused treatment for his foot. Willier, driver of the second car involved was brought to St. Johns in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with head, arm, leg and internal and external trunk injuries. Ferrell and Seilbod, driver and passenger of the fourth vehicle involved weren’t injured. Also none of the subjects who were in the vehicle on the shoulder were hurt.

Everyone was traveling west 2.5 miles east of State Highway-99/ Hallett exit in Pawnee County.
