A personal injury collision occurred about 6 p.m. Sunday on State Highway 99 at County Road 4001, located 22 miles north and 1 mile east of Pawhuska city limits in Osage County.

A 2004 Kia Rio driven by Kendra Nicole Uhls, 18, of Coffeyville, Kansas, collided with a 2001 Nissan Xterra driven by Patricia Marie Hammond, 26, of Pawhuska.

Neither Uhls nor any of the four passengers in her car was injured.

Hammond was transported by private vehicle to Sedan City Hospital in good condition with head and trunk internal injuries.

None of the three passengers in her car was injured.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said both vehicles were southbound on State Highway 99. Uhls' car pulled onto the county road to turn around, then pulled into the path of Hammond's car, hitting it on the passenger side.

The Patrol said the cause of the collision was failure to yield from a stop sign.
