Oklahoma state senators to be sworn into office

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Newly-elected and returning members of the Oklahoma state Senate are scheduled to be sworn into office.

The lawmakers will take their oaths of office in the Senate Chamber starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Senate President Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb will preside over the ceremony while Chief Justice -Elect John Reif of the Oklahoma Supreme Court will administer the oath of office.
