OKLAHOMA CITY –

The Oklahoma Sooners have repeated as National Champions.

The Sooners took down Texas 10-5 on Thursday night at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

The Sooners were down 2 runs early in the game but a three-run home run in the 5th inning opened the flood gates for the high scoring Sooners.

Four more runs in the top of the 6th all but sealed the deal for the Sooners.

The Longhorns fought hard with two outs in the bottom of the 7th. A three run shot gave the Longhorns some hope before the game ended.

This is the program’s 6th National Title. They have won 5 of those titles since 2013.
