Oklahoma School Bus Crash Kills One, Injures Multiple Near Grandfield

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly school bus crash that happened near Grandfield on Monday morning.

Troopers said a Ford F150 pickup truck crashed into a Grandfield school bus on US-70 five miles west of Grandfield.

The driver of the pickup died at the scene.

The school bus driver, James Jackson, was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas. He is in critical condition.

Another student was flown to the hospital in Wichita Falls, treated, and released.

Nine other students, all teens, were taken to various hospitals with minor injuries. All were treated and then released.

OHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
