Oklahoma Department of Corrections reports inmate escape in Ponca City

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC) announced a walkaway inmate at Bridgeway Halfway House in Ponca City.

According to ODOC, 62-year-old Lester Hampton was last seen at approximately 11:51 a.m. on Sept. 7.

Hampton is currently serving 10 years for a second-degree burglary in Sequoyah County.
