Oklahoma Credit Unions Present Free Concert With Country Music Star Jordan Davis

Oklahoma City is gearing up for an evening of music and community as nine local credit unions join forces for the second annual CU in the Park concert.

The event is on Saturday, September 28, at 7 p.m. at Scissortail Park, and multi-platinum country music artist Jordan Davis will headline.

Davis recently won ACM’s 2024 Song of the Year for his hit “Next Thing You Know” and has a variety of chart-topping country songs.

The CU in the Park concert is presented on the Love’s Travel Stops Stage and Great Lawn at Scissortail Park. It is free and open to the public.

The event serves as a testament to the local credit unions’ commitment to fostering community connections and providing enriching experiences for residents.

“We’re thrilled to host this free concert in Oklahoma City for the second year, offering a chance for everyone to enjoy music and learn the value of credit unions in our community,” Dave Willis, President/CEO of Tinker Federal Credit Union, said. “Credit union members are your neighbors, coworkers, and friends.”

The event is supposed to highlight how local credit unions value collaboration and can work together to benefit the community. Larry Shropshire, President/CEO of Communication Federal Credit Union, added,

The concert is set to be an evening of vibrant music and community engagement, showcasing the strong ties between local organizations and the people they serve. Attendees can look forward to a fantastic performance by Jordan Davis, a perfect way to celebrate and enjoy a night out with friends and family.
