OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – A prominent Oklahoma City attorney is again being accused of professional misconduct for allegedly keeping nearly $100,000 in funds belonging to clients whose daughter died in a car accident.

The Oklahoman newspaper reports that the state association of lawyers has asked the Oklahoma Supreme Court to discipline Doug Friesen in a way justices find equitable and proper. Punishment could include the suspension or loss of his license to practice law.

Last year, the state Supreme Court suspended Friesen from practicing law after he was sentenced to 15 weekends in jail and six months of home detention for three misdemeanor tax offenses. That suspension was lifted in May.
