KOKH - April 4, 2023 6:55 am

Oklahoma City police released more details on Monday after three people were killed at the Whiskey Barrel Saloon on Saturday night.

Police said officers responded to a shooting there just before 9 p.m.

“When officers arrived, they discovered numerous shooting victims. Three of the victims succumbed to their injuries, while another three were transported to area hospitals for treatment,” Oklahoma City police said in a news release on Monday.

Police said it appears that an altercation broke out inside the bar between several biker gangs, and that escalated to the point where numerous people were exchanging gunfire.

Police identified two of the three deceased victims on Monday, 38-year-old Francisco Tanajara and 29-year-old Eric Oberholtzer. Police are waiting on a positive identification for the third deceased victim.

One of the people wounded, 34-year-old Tyler Myers, was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center for murder in the first degree after he was released from the hospital.

In addition to Myers, police said 35-year-old Felicia Wallace and 36-year-old Clayton Owens were also injured in the incident.

According to police, the investigation is in the early stages and more arrests are possible.
